Thesis: Biophilic design can strengthen the connection between people and nature that has been severed by a comfortable indoor life that can create detrimental effects on human
and environmental welfare.

Biophilia is humankind’s innate biological connection with nature. A connection that is continually being interrupted by the modern advances of technology. The connection is made by integrating natural material such as greenery, water, sunlight, stone and wood in an interior space. My thesis booklet will go in-depth to explain what biophilic design is and the important benefits it offers.
